The ME Department provides in-depth study of core ME subjects and focuses on integrating emerging technologies in mechanical engineering education and research. The faculty are extensively engaged in state–of–the–art research and innovative educational programs. The department offers Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and Master's and PhD degrees in mechanical Engineering. The BE program is ABET accredited. Job Description:
Teach the graduate-level course MEC 501: Convective Heat Transfer and Heat Exchange in Spring 2026, focusing on advanced convection heat transfer, boundary-layer theory, and thermal-fluid applications.
Prepare and deliver lectures and course materials (slides, homework, and examinations) consistent with graduate Mechanical Engineering curriculum standards.
Evaluate student performance and provide instructional support, including grading and limited office hours.
Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field is required.
Strong background in convection heat transfer and thermal-fluid sciences, evidenced by doctoral research, publications, or relevant professional experience.
Ability to teach a graduate-level course in English, with effective communication and classroom management skills.
