Dr. Kim is a Distinguished Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Seoul National University.
His research focuses on Elastic Wave and Metamaterials, Autonomous Linkage Design and Structural Topology Optimization, Higher-order Beam Theory and Analysis.
