The PAE writing program is designed for matriculated undergraduate students whose writing has been evaluated by PAE professors and who have been placed into one of five levels in the writing program. These levels include WAE 190 Intermediate, WAE 192 High Intermediate, WAE 194 Advanced Academic Writing, WRT 101 Introductory Writing Workshop, and WRT 102 Intermediate Writing Workshop. Each course must be taken and passed before advancing to the next level, and upon passing WRT 102, students will satisfy their writing requirements at Stony Brook.
